Once upon a time in the pokemon gijinka world, there was a pokemon called vanilluxe, who was an oddity in the universe. There were Millions of occasions where Vanilluxe were TWINS, when before there was only one. It was only very rare when A Vanilluxe was a singular entity. But why?

Well. Now for my explaination. Lets start with a little Vanillite. At this stage, It truely is only one person. But around the time when it is natural to evolve into a Vanillish, It starts developing a second personallity. The whole stage of Vanillish is developing these two new sides of itself. evolution in this state is crucial to not be forced. If it evolves on his or her own terms, the two different personallities take form as Twins, Who will be connected by a deep bond, of which if one dies, the other will soon die due to loneliness.

But what of the other kind of Vanilluxe Gijinka? Well, if the Pokemon is forced into Evolving by Human or other interferance before Both personallities are fully developed, One will be stronger than the other and will be the only one to evolve, Thus becoming only one. The second personallity in this way tends to either linger and show itself occasionally in a double personallity, or fade away altogether.

A single Gijinka can also happen if Evolution is too LATE. In this case, Either the Pokemon did not want to evolve, or the Trainer is insistant on having a Vanillish rather than a Vanilluxe. in The First option, the two sides become so close that they always want to be together, and result in a singular form with a double personallity. The second of these options can in fact be harmful to the vanillish, as Sometimes while the Personaillities will always have a deep bond, That does not mean they will get along. Sometimes the Vanillish will start fighting or otherwise injuring itself while trying to attack it's other half. By this point it is probably already too late to save both personallities, but Evoltuion is the best option to keep your Pokemon alive. Most Common result from evoltuion in this state is the truely singular form of Vanilluxe.

So be warned to take good care of your Vanillish, and don't force them to evolve or not, whatever you do. It is a difficult stage for them. and Generally the Pokemon's own choice is the best one for them.
Just some Headcannon stuff for Gijinka Vanilluxe evolution. I'm not exactly HOW much of this is cannon in my RP-verse.

I may do a fallow-up on Hydriegon.
