Joy bubble

"Because this wouldn't be a fun adventure at all, without you."

When I first started playing Pokemon, It never was just a game. It was a safety net. An escape route. To a joy-filled place, where nothing dark could get in.

This, as an entry for 's Victory fire comic anniversary, Was to try to express my feelings for my first starter, or team. In my case, it feels, protective. I know my Turtwig, now brave Torterra, will always be there for me. In my joy-bubble. And I will always love my Reptile back. Nothing will ever be able to replace him.

And, as I found out when I was working on this... this wasn't just for the contest. This was for me. to remember to believe in happiness.
